The Country !

These shots bring back so many memories of driving around in the Australian countryside when I was a little girl - sliding around the backseat of our Kingswood as seat belts were not mandatory back then, and sticking to the vinyl during the searing heat of Summer.

Our version of air-conditioning would be to wet towels and hang them from the side windows of the car in the vain hope that the hot wind blowing through would cool slightly as it hit the wet towels.  Yes, we were a very classy family back then.

These shots were taken on our drive back from Hepburn Springs a few weekends ago.  Such beautiful scenery.  Wish I was back there now!
